Installation Tutorial

Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the fixture.

Remove any existing fixture prior to the installation.

Screw the E26 base adapter with E26 holder in the can.

Connect the male connector with the female connector.

Push up the spring holders to insert the fixture in the opening in the can.

Turn on circuit breaker and test the light.

FAQ

  • No. You need to have the can. They are just the replacement for other lights in the recessed lighting.

  • Our lights are damp-rated. So this light is suitable for damp locations, where water can not get through but moisture can exist. But it is best to install it indoor. If you have to use it outdoors, we recommend to install it in the soffit. Please avoid direct contact with the sun or rain.

The Operating Temperature: -20°C (-4°F) – 40°C (104°F).

It is 90+CRI, which will bring true color rendering to your house.

Yes! our downlights can fit a 5’’/6’’ can. You could simply adjust the screw to fit. The feature of 5/6’’ adjustable makes it easy to apply.

The recommended installation spacing for the downlight light is between 5ft to 7ft.

There are several reasons.

  1. The wire falls off/ loosens/ breaks.
  2. The connector is missing or the connector lacks metal shrapnel.
  3. The voltage is too high.

 

To better find out the problem, you could do the following steps:

  1. Double check the connection of the wire.
  2. Double check the connector.
  3. Install the lights on 110 volts.

There are several reasons.

  1. The wire falls off/ loosens/ breaks.
  2. You may not set the dimmer right.
  3. There are too many lights connected to the compatible dimmer.

 

To better find out the problem, you could do the following steps:

  1. Double check the connection of the wire.
  2. Double check the setting of dimmer.
  3. Reduce the number of lights connected to the one dimmer. (Total Power of the Lights≤75% of the Rated Power of the Dimmer)

There are several reasons.

  3. You may use an incompatible dimmer.
  4. There are too many lights connected to the compatible dimmer.
  5. There are some high-power electrical appliances on the same circuit. (radio, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.)

  1. Select a more compatible dimmer from the recommended dimmer list (5 star).
  2. Reduce the number of lights connected to the one dimmer. (Total Power of the Lights≤75% of the Rated Power of the Dimmer).
  3. For the mechanical circuit breaker: you could replace a compatible dimmer.

For the electronic control circuit breaker: you could replace the circuit breaker first.

  1. Remove the high-power electrical appliances and set them further away from each other.
